What a joy it is to live in a warm home while saving on heating costs!

Serving Saint-Ursule and surrounding towns, Isolation SG has been offering residential and commercial insulation services since 2017. We hold an RBQ license (no. 5733-8642-01) and are members of the Commission de la construction (CCQ) and the APCHQ.

The insulation materials we use for your walls, ceilings, foundations, and attics are spray polyurethane foam and blown cellulose. We’ll recommend the best option for your needs—whether you're prioritizing thermal performance (R-value), cost, or environmental impact.

Spray Polyurethane Foam

Also known as urethane, spray foam insulation is the most efficient option on the market, with a thermal resistance rating of R-6 to R-7 per inch. It's ideal for insulating attics, walls, and foundations, and it can easily meet or exceed recommended R-values. For example, you can achieve R-70 insulation in the attic, where up to 20% of a home’s heat can be lost.

Isolation SG uses Genyk spray foam, made from recycled plastic. Once applied by our experienced technicians with the proper equipment, the foam expands instantly and fills every gap in the surface being insulated.

The foam hardens within minutes and forms a complete airtight and moisture-proof barrier. In addition, warm air stays inside the building, which is another advantage for reducing heating costs (it’s worth noting that nearly 20% of a home’s warm air escapes through the attic).

This insulation can be applied to wood (plywood), concrete, metal, brick, and drywall panels. Before spraying the polyurethane foam, we make sure that the surface is clean, dry, and free of frost, debris, or oil that could affect the insulation’s adhesion.

Blown Cellulose

Blown cellulose fiber is a high-performance, eco-friendly insulation made from 85% recycled newspaper and 15% fire-retardant materials. Used for decades in residential and commercial buildings, cellulose offers an R-value of 3.7 per inch, outperforming traditional fiberglass.

Our technicians will evenly apply the required amount of cellulose to achieve the insulation performance you want—and even exceed the energy efficiency standards set by the Construction Code.
