We are licensed by the Régie du bâtiment(RBQ), and our technicians are fully trained to carry out insulation projects in compliance with current construction standards. We also use the appropriate equipment to ensure precise and efficient application of your chosen material.

Blown Cellulose Insulation

Cellulose is made from 85% recycled newspaper and 15% fire-retardant materials. Used for over 20 years to insulate homes and buildings, this insulation provides both thermal and acoustic performance. It fills every crevice and cavity in the structure, ensuring no air leaks or heat loss. This keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer.

The R-value of blown cellulose is 3.7 per inch, outperforming fiberglass. With sufficient thickness, you can easily reach an R-value of 70 in attic floors critical since poorly insulated attics can let out up to 20% of a home’s heat.

Cellulose has a very long lifespan and does not promote mold growth. However, it’s important to install a vapor barrier. Termites and carpenter ants cannot nest in or chew through this material, and rodents avoid it—so your attic stays pest-free. It's also non-toxic for occupants and remains affordable despite all its advantages.

Spray Foam (Polyurethane) Insulation

Spray foam, also known as urethane, is a polymer-based (plastic) insulation. Its R-value is 6.5 per inch, making it one of the most efficient options available. The foam retains its size and shape over time, ensuring long-term performance. It fills all cracks, gaps, and corners, providing total airtightness and moisture resistance. There's no need for a separate air barrier, as spray foam blocks both air and water infiltration, preventing mold growth.

Our team uses Genyk spray foam, a made product, for all spray foam insulation projects—whether it's for attics, basements, walls, or floors. The foam expands and hardens on contact, creating a seamless, joint-free layer of insulation. Application must be done by contractors certified by CUFCA to meet industry standards.
